Sister taxon: Raraxymyia parallela

Type specimen: CNU-DIP-NN2012191, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Daohugou (CNU 2012 collection), which is in a Callovian/Oxfordian lacustrine - large shale in the Daohugou Formation of China.

Ecology:

Distribution: found only at Daohugou (CNU 2012 collection)
