Sister taxa: Hokkaidoconcha bilirata, Hokkaidoconcha morenoensis, Hokkaidoconcha novacula, Hokkaidoconcha occidentalis

Type specimen: UCMP 555092. Its type locality is USNM loc. 23051, Paskenta, which is in a Tithonian/Tithonian marine mudstone in the Stony Creek Formation of California.

Ecology: epifaunal

Distribution: found only at USNM loc. 23051, Paskenta
