Sister taxa: Torvoneustes carpenteri, Torvoneustes jurensis, Torvoneustes mexicanus

Type specimen: MJML K1863, a skull (Three-dimensionally preserved skull (lacking most of the rostrum), the posterior half of the left mandibular ramus, and seven isolated teeth found in close asso). Its type locality is Studley Grange landfill site, which is in a Kimmeridgian open shallow subtidal carbonate in the Kimmeridge Clay Formation of the United Kingdom.

Ecology: nektonic carnivore

Distribution: found only at Studley Grange landfill site
