Type specimen: CV-2690, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Crato (Vulcano collection), which is in an Aptian lacustrine - large carbonate in the Crato Formation of Brazil.

Ecology: fast-moving ground dwelling herbivore

Distribution: found only at Crato (Vulcano collection)
