Type specimen: MPFT-05-1, a maxilla (maxillary fragment preserving the crowns of left P4 – M2 (M3 represented only by small root frag- ment) and right M1 – M2). Its type locality is Bang Mark Lignite Mine, which is in an Eocene fluvial-lacustrine lignite in Thailand.
Ecology: arboreal omnivore
Distribution: found only at Bang Mark Lignite Mine
