Type specimen: AMNH 43096, a carapace. Its type locality is SUNY-B 411 Blenheim-Gilboa Power plant, which is in a Givetian marine sandstone in the Panther Mountain Formation of New York.

Ecology: nektobenthic carnivore

Distribution: found only at SUNY-B 411 Blenheim-Gilboa Power plant
