Type specimen: USNM 210930, a shell. Its type locality is USGS 15160-PC. North end of Needle Range. T ½ sec. 27, T.25 S., R.19 W., which is in an Arnsbergian marine shale in the Chainman Shale Formation of Nevada.
Ecology: slow-moving low-level epifaunal detritivore
Distribution: found only at USGS 15160-PC. North end of Needle Range. T ½ sec. 27, T.25 S., R.19 W.
