Belongs to Cratyna according to W. Mohrig and F. Röschmann 2005
Sister taxa: Cratyna (Cratyna), Cratyna (Peyerimhoffia), Cratyna (Spathobdella), Cratyna villosoantennata
Type specimen: BMNH Pal PI II 370(1), an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Dominican Amber (NHML/BMNH collection), which is in a Burdigalian/Langhian terrestrial amber in the Dominican Republic.
