Type specimen: NMSG SAO, 251093, a mandible (anterior portion of both mandibles, fused at the symphysis, missing the post symphyseal rami and the rostral tip.). Its type locality is Chapada do Araripe, Romualdo Member (general), which is in an Albian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal shale in the Santana Formation of Brazil.

Ecology: volant piscivore

Distribution: found only at Chapada do Araripe, Romualdo Member (general)
