Type specimen: NMSG SAO, 251093, a mandible (anterior portion of both mandibles, fused at the symphysis, missing the post symphyseal rami and the rostral tip.). Its type locality is Chapada do Araripe [Romualdo Fm.] (general), which is in an Aptian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal shale in the Romualdo Formation of Brazil.

Ecology: volant piscivore

Distribution: found only at Chapada do Araripe [Romualdo Fm.] (general)
