Type specimen: Beijing Natural History Museum LV8-1013, a wing. Its type locality is Xiwan village, Meileyingzi, Kezuo, which is in an Aptian terrestrial siliciclastic in the Shahai Formation of China.

Distribution: found only at Xiwan village, Meileyingzi, Kezuo
