Sister taxon: Jurosmylus parvulus
Type specimen: PIN 2239/1736, an exoskeleton (well preserved wings; body is somewhat fragmentary). Its type locality is Karatau-Mikhailovka (PIN collection 2239), which is in a Callovian/Oxfordian lacustrine - large siltstone in the Karabastau Formation of Kazakhstan.
Ecology:
Distribution: found only at Karatau-Mikhailovka (PIN collection 2239)
