Sister taxa: Stilbocrocis heeri, Stilbocrocis pulchra
Type specimen: Bergschule Saarbrucken D/193, a wing. Its type locality is Frankenholz-Saar pit, shaft 5, which is in a Westphalian D terrestrial siliciclastic in the Geisheck Formation of Germany.

Distribution: found only at Frankenholz-Saar pit, shaft 5
