Type specimen: DGM-4369, a shell. Its type locality is Rio d'Areia, Teixeira Soares region, Paraná State, which is in an Asselian marine siltstone in the Taciba Formation of Brazil.

Distribution: found only at Rio d'Areia, Teixeira Soares region, Paraná State
