Belongs to Hungioides according to R. A. Fortey and J. H. Shergold 1984
Sister taxon: Hungioides intermedia
Type specimen: CPC 22714, a cephalon/head (cranidium). Its type locality is Locality 126/3, which is in an Arenig shallow subtidal sandstone/siltstone in the Nora Formation of Australia.
Ecology: fast-moving low-level epifaunal carnivore
Distribution:
• Arenig of Australia (9 collections)
Total: 9 collections each including a single occurrence
