Type specimen: MGL 46006. Its type locality is Level Z-15, Reno Draw section 1, which is in a Liasicus marine limestone in the Sunrise Formation of Nevada.

Average measurements (in mm): diameter 22.0
Distribution:
• Jurassic of Canada (6: British Columbia collections), Chile (1), United States (1: Nevada)
Total: 8 collections each including a single occurrence
