Type specimen: GSC 20059, a shell. Its type locality is GSC 62499, Section A 08, Castle Pass, which is in an Angulata marine siltstone in the Last Creek Formation of Canada.

Ecology: fast-moving nektonic carnivore

Average measurements (in mm): diameter 49.9, shell diameter 25.3

Distribution:

• Jurassic of Canada (17: British Columbia collections), New Caledonia (1), United States (9: Alaska, Nevada)

Total: 27 collections each including a single occurrence
