Type specimen: NHM 1036. Its type locality is Subunit 48, Matmor Formation, Hamakhtesh Hagadol, Israel, which is in a Callovian deep subtidal shelf limestone in the Matmor Formation of Israel.
Ecology: stationary low-level epifaunal suspension feeder
Distribution: found only at Subunit 48, Matmor Formation, Hamakhtesh Hagadol, Israel
