Type specimen: NWMNH 25030, a shell. Its type locality is New York Canyon, Shoshone Mountains (T. mullerense horizon), which is in a Semicostatum marine limestone in the Sunrise Formation of Nevada.
Ecology: fast-moving nektonic carnivore

Distribution: found only at New York Canyon, Shoshone Mountains (T. mullerense horizon)
