Type specimen: BMNH In.24653, a wing. Its type locality is Bembridge Marls (Hooley coll), which is in a Priabonian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal lime mudstone in the Bouldnor Formation of the United Kingdom.
Ecology: fast-moving volant carnivore-insectivore
Distribution: found only at Bembridge Marls (Hooley coll)
