Type specimen: BMNH In.24630, a wing (incomplete fore and hind wings). Its type locality is Bembridge Marls (Hooley coll), which is in a Priabonian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal lime mudstone in the Bouldnor Formation of the United Kingdom.

Distribution: found only at Bembridge Marls (Hooley coll)
