Type specimen: USNM 120194, a shell. Its type locality is USGS 17690, Hobbtown quarry, which is in a Moscovian marine siliciclastic in the Atoka Formation of Arkansas.
Ecology: nektobenthic carnivore

Distribution: found only at USGS 17690, Hobbtown quarry
