Type specimen: RGM 352 537, a shell. Its type locality is Monastery 'Santo Ecco Homo', Villa de Leiva, Boyaca, which is in a Barremian marine horizon in Colombia.
Ecology: fast-moving nektonic carnivore
Distribution: found only at Monastery 'Santo Ecco Homo', Villa de Leiva, Boyaca
