Type specimen: SNGM 486, a valve (right valve). Its type locality is Cerros de Cuevitas, Antofagasta, which is in a Hettangian/Sinemurian open shallow subtidal carbonate in Chile.
Ecology: facultatively mobile infaunal suspension feeder
Distribution:
• Jurassic of Chile (2 collections)
Total: 2 collections each including a single occurrence
