Type specimen: SNGM 587, a valve (right valve). Its type locality is Quebrada Yerbas Buenas, Atacama, which is in an Obtusum open shallow subtidal horizon in Chile.
Ecology: facultatively mobile infaunal suspension feeder
Distribution:
• Jurassic of Chile (2 collections)
Total: 2 collections each including a single occurrence
