Type specimen: SGU 104a/24, a partial skull. Its type locality is Nizhnyaya Bannovka, Volga River, which is in a Cenomanian marine shale in the Melovatskaya Formation of the Russian Federation.

Ecology: nektonic carnivore

Distribution: found only at Nizhnyaya Bannovka, Volga River
