Type specimen: GBA 1871/002/0005/06, a shell. Its type locality is Röthelstein, lower layer with Arcestes ellipticus, which is in a Julian carbonate limestone/limestone in the Halstatt Formation of Austria.
Ecology: fast-moving nektonic carnivore
Distribution: found only at Röthelstein, lower layer with Arcestes ellipticus
