Belongs to Cretophotina according to S. W. Lee 2014
Sister taxa: Cretophotina mongolica, Cretophotina selenginensis, Cretophotina serotina, Cretophotina tristriata
Type specimen: SMNS 67583, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Crato (SMNS collection), which is in an Aptian lacustrine - large carbonate in the Crato Formation of Brazil.
Ecology:
Distribution: found only at Crato (SMNS collection)
