Type specimen: MPM-PV 1156, a partial skeleton. Its type locality is Rio La Leona Valley, Cerro Fortaleza locality, which is in a Campanian crevasse splay sandstone/mudstone in the Cerro Fortaleza Formation of Argentina.

Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore

Distribution: found only at Rio La Leona Valley, Cerro Fortaleza locality
