Type specimen: MPMA 04-0012/00, a partial skeleton (Partial skull and 4 vertebrae). Its type locality is 4 km west of Monte Alto, which is in a Campanian/Maastrichtian terrestrial sandstone in the Adamantina Formation of Brazil.
Ecology: carnivore
Distribution: found only at 4 km west of Monte Alto
