Type specimen: BMNH 53383, a cephalon/head. Its type locality is Stream on south-eastern boundary of Ballyvorgal South, Slieve Bemagh Mountains, which is in a Katian marine mudstone in Ireland.
Ecology: fast-moving low-level epifaunal carnivore
Distribution:
• Ordovician of Ireland (1 collection), Italy (1), Kazakhstan (2)
