Type specimen: NIGP12918, a valve. Its type locality is AAE-651. Zhonggou, about 3 km northwest of Yanzikou,, which is in a Hirnantian shallow subtidal limestone in the Kuanyinchiao Formation of China.

Ecology: stationary low-level epifaunal suspension feeder
