Belongs to Xianshou according to S. Bi et al. 2014
Sister taxon: Xianshou linglong
Type specimen: BMNHC-PM003253, a skeleton (A skeleton preserved partial skull, mandible, and most of the postcranial skeleton). Its type locality is Daxishan, which is in an Oxfordian terrestrial shale in the Tiaojishan Formation of China.
Ecology: scansorial insectivore
Distribution: found only at Daxishan
