Sister taxon: Cyrtinaella biplicata
Type specimen: Its type locality is USNM 10808. North flank of Ikes Canyon, which is in a Lochkovian open shallow subtidal limestone in the McMonnigal Limestone Formation of Nevada.
Ecology: stationary low-level epifaunal suspension feeder
Distribution:
• Devonian of United States (2: Nevada collections)
