Belongs to Lufengospira according to W. Yu and Y. H. Xi 1977
Sister taxa: Lufengospira obsoleta, Lufengospira tulotomoides, Lufengospira yonglingensis, Lufengospira yunnanensis
Type specimen: NIGP 24286, a shell. Its type locality is YH 5254, Shawan, Lufeng County, which is in a Bajocian/Bathonian fluvial-lacustrine horizon in the Upper Lufeng Formation of China.
Ecology: epifaunal grazer
Distribution: found only at YH 5254, Shawan, Lufeng County
