Belongs to Lufengospira according to W. Yu and Y. H. Xi 1977
Sister taxa: Lufengospira pyriformis, Lufengospira tulotomoides, Lufengospira yonglingensis, Lufengospira yunnanensis
Type specimen: NIGP 24287, a shell. Its type locality is YH 5082, Mimalong, Lufeng County, which is in a Bajocian fluvial-lacustrine horizon in the Zhanghe Formation of China.
Ecology: epifaunal grazer
Distribution:
• Jurassic of China (2 collections)
Total: 2 collections each including a single occurrence
