Belongs to Lufengospira according to H. Z. Pan 1977
Sister taxa: Lufengospira obsoleta, Lufengospira pyriformis, Lufengospira tulotomoides, Lufengospira yunnanensis
Type specimen: NIGP 24279, a shell. Its type locality is YHW420, Changjie, Yongping County, which is in a Bajocian/Bathonian fluvial-lacustrine horizon in the Hepingxiang Formation of China.
Ecology: epifaunal grazer
Distribution: found only at YHW420, Changjie, Yongping County
