Type specimen: Tianjin Institute of Geology and Mineral Resources SJ10003, a tegmen. Its type locality is Jinsuoguan, Tongchuan, which is in a Longobardian lacustrine mudstone in the Yanchang Formation of China.
Ecology:
Distribution: found only at Jinsuoguan, Tongchuan
