Type specimen: PIN 2554/807, an exoskeleton (fragment). Its type locality is Karatau-Mikhailovka (PIN collection 2554), which is in a Callovian/Oxfordian lacustrine - large siltstone in the Karabastau Formation of Kazakhstan.
