Type specimen: Holotype: LRR1-1076, stored in the Department of Plant Science, University of Tasmania. (Leafly twigs with cuticles). Its type locality is Little Rapid River 1, which is in an Oligocene fluvial-lacustrine mudstone in Australia.
Distribution: found only at Little Rapid River 1
