Sister taxa: Delepinoceras californicum, Delepinoceras eothalassoides, Delepinoceras thalassoide

Type specimen: PIN 455/330, a shell. Its type locality is Kzyl-Shin gully, Kiya River, sample 4, which is in an Arnsbergian carbonate limestone in Kazakhstan.

Ecology: fast-moving nektonic carnivore

Average measurements (in mm): shell diameter 27.5

Distribution:

• Carboniferous of Kazakhstan (1 collection), the Russian Federation (4), Tajikistan (1)
