Belongs to Triproetus according to R. A. Fortey and A. P. Heward 2015
Sister taxa: Triproetus altasulcus, Triproetus angustus, Triproetus spitsbergensis, Triproetus subovalis, Triproetus tumidus
Type specimen: NHMUKPI It 29103, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is WKJ, Wadi Khawr al Jaramah, which is in a Kungurian carbonate limestone in Oman.
Ecology: fast-moving low-level epifaunal deposit feeder
Distribution:
• Permian of Oman (2 collections)
Total: 2 collections each including a single occurrence
