Sister taxa: none

Type specimen: IVPP V.14561, a partial skeleton (partial shell, missing the posterior part of the carapace from the sixth neural and seventh costal to the posterior end and the xiphiplastron). Its type locality is Maoming Basin, which is in a Lutetian/Bartonian lacustrine - large shale in the Youganwo Formation of China.

Ecology: aquatic omnivore

Distribution: found only at Maoming Basin
