Sister taxa: Digonioceras dispansum, Digonioceras enayi, Digonioceras robustum, Digonioceras terebratum, Digonioceras tinanti
Type specimen: PF Toa 607, a shell. Its type locality is Belmont d’Azergues (Lafarge quarry), Upper Toarcian, which is in a Toarcian marine marl in France.
Ecology: nektobenthic carnivore

Distribution:
• Jurassic of France (3 collections)
Total: 3 collections each including a single occurrence
