Type specimen: Holotype: LB-046, housed in the Department of Environmental Biology, University of Adelaide., a sterile axis (Cuticle). Its type locality is Lake Bungarby, which is in a Paleocene terrestrial mudstone in Australia.
Distribution: found only at Lake Bungarby
