Sister taxon: Clenia brevis

Type specimen: MACN 52-381, a mandible (fragment of a left mandibular ramus with m1-2). Its type locality is Gran Barranca - southern cliff of lake Colhué Huapí, which is in a Colhuehuapian terrestrial horizon in the Sarmiento Formation of Argentina.

Ecology: scansorial insectivore

Distribution: found only at Gran Barranca - southern cliff of lake Colhué Huapí
