Type specimen: MACN 52-369, a mandible (Left dentary with p1-m4). Its type locality is Gran Barranca - southern cliff of lake Colhué Huapí, which is in a Colhuehuapian terrestrial horizon in the Sarmiento Formation of Argentina.
Ecology: scansorial carnivore
Distribution: found only at Gran Barranca - southern cliff of lake Colhué Huapí
