Type specimen: PZO 628, a partial skeleton. Its type locality is Above bed K11, Monte Prà della Vacca / Kuehwiesenkopf area, which is in a Pelsonian/Illyrian marginal marine siltstone in the Dont Formation of Italy.

Distribution: found only at Above bed K11, Monte Prà della Vacca / Kuehwiesenkopf area
