Type specimen: SDSM 56510, a mandible (right dentary with i1, m1–m3.). Its type locality is Cedar Pass (SDSM V712), which is in a Whitneyan terrestrial horizon in the Brule Formation of South Dakota.

Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore

Distribution: found only at Cedar Pass (SDSM V712)
