Sister taxa: Zittelella pannosa, Zittelella typicalis, Zittelella varians, Zittelella xinjiangensis
Type specimen: Its type locality is Mingan Fm., basal Grand Pointe Mbr. Loc. 3,7, which is in a Chazyan open shallow subtidal wackestone/grainstone in the Mingan Formation of Canada.
Ecology: stationary epifaunal suspension feeder
Distribution:
• Chazyan of Canada (2: Quebec collections)
Total: 2 collections each including a single occurrence
