Type specimen: IVPP V17983, a partial skeleton. Its type locality is Jiyangshan, Huabi, which is in a Ladinian offshore limestone in the Falang Formation of China.

Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore

Distribution: found only at Jiyangshan, Huabi
